About us
A new charity for new communities
Southampton New Communities Support is a registered charity in England and Wales (number 1218479).
Our story
Southampton New Communities Support grew from our experience of helping people in our local community who were struggling to settle into life in the UK. We saw refugees, asylum seekers and migrants facing challenges with language, employment, accessing services and feeling part of the wider community.
We created SNC Support to make sure people don't have to face those challenges alone. Our aim is to provide practical support, clear information, opportunities to learn and connect, and a welcoming community where people can build confidence and move forward with their lives.
